Setting transparency of a movie clip.
I just started learning flash and didn’t really find what I was looking for immediately on google. So I decided to just post everything on flash I can’t find directly here on DeviantFlash blog. This is my first post on setting transparency of a movie clip. It’s just one line of code but I had to type 5 different things in google to find what I needed.
With this code you can change the transparency (alpha color) of a movie clip. Just enter this where you need it:
this._alpha = 40;
If you only want to change visibility use:
this._visibility = true;
or
this._visibility = false;
It’s worth noting that a lot of things can be set with this. you just have to know what to type :PÂ So here’s also a list with other this. properties.

May most popular games
Well this month the most popular games of DeviantFlash are here again, and I’ll try to get you some information on the games which are here in the top 5. Also my opinion on the games and some comments on the popularity. You don’t really need to read everything I say because playing the games for yourself is more important than how popular a game might be.
The big winner is again, just like last month, uphil rush. Even though a big decrease in play compared to last month it’s still the big winner. The second game is very close to this one. So I expect uphil rush to really drop some more next month. I personally don’t really like the game that much and certainly is not my number one.
Feudalism takes second place for this month. Very surprising number too, it’s actually quite a complicated game and something I wouldn’t expect to be ranked high. Should be fun but in fact I didn’t play it very long myself, because I don’t like complicated things in flash games. I just want to have some mindless fun for a few minutes.
Free rider 2 dropped one stop to number 2. Nothing really to say about this game, then I did last month.
The last stand 2 was released last month and it’s a really cool and simple base defense game. It’s definitely the best game in the most popular games. Just have fun!
Max dirt bike, just like last month it’s sitting on number 5. Nothing to comment on this.
